Job Vacancy: Hampshire Cricket Board Non-Executive Directors

Would you like to volunteer for Hampshire Cricket Board?

Hampshire Cricket Board is responsible for recreational cricket in the county. Their aim is to ‘grow and improve the game to provide a cricketing future for all’. They are responsible for delivering the recreational dimension of the ECB’s Strategic plan – Inspiring Generations in Hampshire. Their key priorities for 2021 to 2024 are to make cricket more accessible for women and girls, in schools and urban areas in Hampshire.

To help deliver their priorities, the Board is recruiting two additional Non-Executive Directors to work with its Development Team and partner organisations. Both positions are on a voluntary basis with expenses paid to cover associated costs with fulfilling the role.

The Board is particularly looking for people who have worked at Board or senior management level and have experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Sport for women and girls
  • Sports provision for BAME communities and in urban environments
  • Physical education and school sport
  • Income generation and fundraising
  • Development of local sports clubs
  • Marketing and communications
  • Legal

Applicants should reside in Hampshire and have an understanding of recreational sport.
