ECB Fundraising Initiatives

Some news below on grant funds, a couple of which are open for a few more days. The England and Wales Cricket Board will be investing £52m in club grants 2020-24 (priority themes: clubs, urban, women & girls, see Inspiring Generations Strategy 2020-24 pages 8, 10, 12 & 18 available here). Local budgets and precise criteria are still being confirmed, the HCB will be hitting the road in the new year to inform and consult on the plan for Hampshire.

  • National Lottery Celebrate 25 Years (www.celebratenationallottery25.com): closes 14:00 on 6th Dec, planning a community event Feb-Nov 2020? Facebook post also cites purchase of "equipment for an amateur sports team".
  • Magic Little Grants (https://localgiving.org/magic-little-grants) up to £500, closes 29th Nov (may re-open next year).
  • Easyfundraising now is the best time to get as many supporters on board as possible. The HCB will give your cause a bonus £5 donation for every referred supporter who raises their first £5. Just get them to sign up with your unique referral link: http://efraising.org/5qHc5YUBrj.
  • Michael May Foundation (under 19's approximately): e-mail trustee Paddy May themays@ntlworld.com with:
    1. information on your junior section
    2. what you want
    3. how will it benefit junior development
    4. committed funds / funds required
    5. latest club accounts
